Salahuddin Ayyubi (RA)—the liberator of Jerusalem and one of Islam’s most noble warriors—didn’t just fight with strength. He trained with discipline, strategy, and vision.
Salahuddin emphasized archery, horseback riding, and survival skills among his troops, often training in outdoor camps and harsh conditions to prepare for what lay ahead. He believed in building the body to serve the soul, and in preparing with ihsan (excellence).
“The essence of jihad is preparation, and archery is among the best preparations.”
(Attributed to Salahuddin)
At Adventure Alp, we carry this legacy forward. Our Asiatic Archery and Combat Archery programs train not only muscle, but mindset—preparing Muslims to be physically capable, spiritually focused, and community-minded.
Legacy Lesson: Salahuddin didn’t wait for strength to come—he built it through training. So should we.
